Welcome to Our homepage

This website is a portal into our lives, both past and present. Although it may sometimes take us a little time to update this site, we are always just an email away if anyone wants to reach us. Just type us a few lines and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

This site contains various images of Jamie and myself, as well as, those of our family and friends. This site is always changing and is never finished. If anyone wants to know where we are or what we're doing this is the best place to look. All you have to do is scan through our pictures and you'll have a pretty good look at our lives.

About Us

Jamie and I have been married since 2002, but we started dating in 1993 when we were still in high school. Back then, she was a freshman and I was a junior and she was unlike anyone I 'have' ever met before. She was not only beautiful, but also sweet, honest, and fun to be around. She is the most unique person that I have ever met. I can honestly say that she saved my life and also made my life. She has never stopped keeping me laughing and anyone who knows one of us, knows the other.

We pride ourselves on doing the things that we want to do. I like to think that we are individuals who live the way that we want to live without falling into trends or stereotypes. I believe that in order to truely experience life, you have to be willing to be yourself, otherwise, are you really living at all? Jamie and I are definitely not traditional. We don't need the big house, the 2.4 children, or the big important job. We like to take our time and enjoy ourselves and not be overwhelmed by that type of social competition because life is only as good as you make it. However, we do plan to have children in the near future(she's due July 14th 2009). I would like to have at least four(girls), but we'll see what Jamie can do?

Jamie is an RN and I take x-ray's, but this by no means defines who we are. An title is a weak way to define someone because there is more to a person then what they do or how they're labeled. I firmly believe in the concept of working to live, versus living to work and I admire those few people fortunate enough to understand what I mean. We both only work on the weekends so we can have more time to travel or do whatever else we want to do. Jamie is also a real estate broker and I have a BS in Management Info Systems, but we just can't bring ourselves to doing these nine-to-five jobs and giving up our time off. Money and status are just not that important to us and we refuse to sell ourselves like that.

Our favorite hobby is traveling. We love to go to different areas and see different people and places. We love to sample different cultures and landscapes. I love to eat all the different types of food. We have many different other hobbies like hiking, taking the bike out on a curvy road or riding the four-wheeler back in the mountains. We occasionaly pull the top down on the car and just drive for hours. Who knows where we'll end up? Our latest hobby is fixing up our 100 year old farmhouse. This is or newest and the most time consuming hobby. Who knew you could do housework and still have fun? We'll try almost anything. Life is never dull and it never stops. It is, of course, what you make of it. With each season, we like to do different things and we're always looking to find new, interesting, adventures.
